GIFTEES AT THE AGS STARTUP EVENT IN DUBAI
We are incredibly proud that Normunds and Skipper; two of our 2nd-year students were one of the 6 selected out of 100 startups to pitch their startup at the AGS Startup Pitch in Dubai!
Their goals: getting out of their comfort zone, networking, getting 1st place with their pitch, and getting investments from this event.
They presented Giftees in a perfected pitch to 100 investors on the main stage. They ended up taking 2nd place home, A massive achievement for Giftees and Team Academy.
Their learnings: Even if you have a small boot, you can outperform and outstand by putting more energy, proactiveness, and conversations in.

Catching up with our alumni Stean
We are excited to announce that our alumni Stean is opening his roastery and Stean’s Beans HQ on May 23rd!
His goal for the space is “that it helps support their mission to create a transparent, educational, and equal coffee industry; where we will have a coffee bar, a roastery, and a barista training school”.
In partnership with Jamestown & Schinkel district, they’re aiming to expand their involvement in the coffee industry and further encourage coffee sustainability.
We look forward to seeing Stean’s goals become a reality!
