This October, Team Academy Amsterdam is coming to Brive Student Day 2026 — the student recruitment fair in Greece that brings together 50 universities from 18 countries.

Walk the floor and you'll hear the same words on repeat. Modules. Credits. Employability. Career services.

We'd rather talk about your first customer.

At Team Academy Amsterdam, you and your team start a company in your first weeks in the Netherlands. It gets a name, a bank account and a first meeting. Your team sets a money goal for the year and has to hit it. On top of that, you sit down with 20 potential customers and write up what you learned from every one of them.

Your coach isn't a lecturer with a slide deck. They've started companies. They know what a bad hire costs, and what a customer's face looks like right before they say no.

Then it gets bigger. In year two, your team plans, funds and runs a four-week learning journey to South Africa. In year three, you pick a country, go for two months, and are expected to come home with a profit. In year four you finish your thesis and graduate with an accredited Bachelor of Business Administration — plus four years of trading history behind you.

Good questions to bring with you

Come and try to catch us out. These are the ones we get most:

• "What if my business fails?" Most first businesses do. You'll be asked what you learned, what it cost, and what you'll do differently. That is the work.

• "Will I be on my own in a new country?" You'll be placed in a team of up to 18 people from all over the world, and you'll build with them for four years. Plenty of them stay in your life long after graduation.

• "Is it a proper degree?" It's an accredited BBA in Entrepreneurship and Tech, from a school running since 2008. Ask us to show you the paperwork — we'll have it with us.

• "I don't have an idea yet." Neither did most of our students. You find the idea by talking to customers, not by waiting for it.
