Christmas Community Lunch
In the heart of our festive community, the Christmas Community Lunch was organized again by our lovely Alexi.
The kitchen area transformed into a decorated banquet, with a campfire, Christmas lights, and Christmas songs.
Every member of the staff and also some of our students brought something lovely, which made the table full of tasty dishes: Surinam Soup, Romanian Applepie, FlapJacks from New Zealand, but also Christmas Raisin Bread, Wraps, Salad, and Hot Chocolate. And of course: oliebollen.
In this community lunch, our plates were filled not just with delicious food, but with the warmth of camaraderie, turning an ordinary lunch into a cherished celebration of togetherness in the last study week of 2023.
MASTERCLASS BY MARTIN KOOIMAN
In December, year 4 had a very special guest to share his knowledge on AI and big data in ICT:
Martin Kooiman, the CEO of WinSys B.v. – IT Solutions in IJmuiden gave a masterclass that was well-received and very inspiring.
“Often AI and big data are explained very technically, but Martin was actually very practical and made it easy to understand.”
