News from Team Academy Amsterdam - March 2024
YEAR 1: LEADERSHIP ELECTIVE
Each year our students get to choose as a team what they would like to do in order to gain a new skill or experience.
This year our first-year students took this opportunity to go to Kaj Ziesemer CrossFit Purmerend. Here, the team learned about the different types of leadership roles you can apply to the team and why each role is vital. On top of that, they took part in doing a CrossFit workout together where they motivated each other and learned how they could adjust their mindset to a growth mindset.
To conclude, this is one of the few team bonding activities the team has done to further develop their relationship with one another.
SECOND YEAR POSTER COFFEE
Our Second Year students hosted our latest Poster Coffee which was accompanied by the 1st year students whilst our 3rd year students are on their learning journey and our fourth-year students are busy with their thesis.
During this Poster Coffee, the second-year students changed it up a bit compared to the original setup whereby they split themselves into groups with the first-year students. In these groups, the second-year students gave advice and held constructive conversations with the first-year students to help them with any challenges that they were facing by providing solutions that worked in the past for their team.
